Photo Essay of Damage              by Tristan Price

For my photo essay I chose to take pictures of things that have been damaged over time. The reason I chose this topic for my photos is because at the start I didn't know what to do, so I just went outside and started taking photos. After a period of time I took a look at the photos I had taken and I realized that lots of them had damage in them, so I went with that for the moment, and I soon realized that there was damage everywhere.
     It's
interesting to look at everyday areas and find many objects
that aren't in the same condition as they use to be.  Walking around in areas I usually visit in my own time, I found things that were bent, warped, rusted, scratched, and in some cases completely destroyed.
To imagine that all these things use to be brand new until time wore them down, reminds be of how nothing lasts forever and if we don't look after things, they might not always be there.
The Wallflower is a proud production of Canterbury's TGG3M program
