Cheerleading is a precise, and complicated sport. There are four components of the sport (jumps, dance, stunting and tumbling.) it takes years to excel, and there are many factors when practicing, When performing, cheerleaders may look happy, and everything may look easy, but it takes a lot of practice to make a routine look that good. Cheerleading is also about the friendships made, and the special bonds that are created. People can meet their best friends through this sport in the span of nine months. A lot of people "give up" after a bit if they are not strong enough; cheerleading is a mental sport, it makes you doubt yourself, and just breaks you down to feel stronger. But once everything clicks and you bond with your teammates, you can execute a perfect routine on the mat. It is not just about the flyer or doing backflips -- these pictures represent the truth and behind the scenes of what goes on during a cheerleading practice.
