The Beauty Of Nature
By Saskia Hansen

I’ve always been interested in nature, maybe it’s because of the tranquility and beauty of nature, or the unexpectedness of sudden rain or animals passing by. This is why I decided to make it the inspiration for my photo essay. There is a boardwalk near my house filled with many plants, flowers, animals, you name it. A lot of “hidden treasures” are scattered throughout the boardwalk that many people miss when taking a peaceful stroll. I wanted to take this opportunity to photograph the boardwalk (and its hidden treasures) before winter comes and the trail is no longer accessible until late spring. These photos were taken at the Findlay Creek Boardwalk in early October. The photos were taken on one of October’s rainy days, this day happened to be one full of many small sun showers. These showers let me capture so many amazing pictures and moments. Watch as these pictures take you through the experience of the boardwalk.
